Ever sent a letter out about your business?
Hopefully you’ve at least sent a letter out to your past customers. [If not - stop reading at the end of this sentence, go type out a letter, any letter, send it out, measure the results, and then come back here. Still reading and no letter? I wasn't joking. Go do it.]
Maybe you’ve even been up to the challenge of sending out information about what you offer, to people who have never heard of you before.
This is classic direct marketing.
Incredibly effective when it works, and highly frustrating and expensive when it doesn’t.
I’ve been waiting for months to be able to offer this information to you, and it’s finally arrived.
If you have a letter or a mailing that you have sent in the past, then here is an Amazon.co.uk 5-star book courtesy of Carol Bentley so you can improve…

Oh, and did I mention that until June 18th, it’s free.
This is meant to be important for some people I was told.

Thanks for sharing with your readers Martin.
It’s a fact of business life - especially for smaller businesses or start-ups - that engaging someone to write these important letters and other marketing material can be outside the available budget.
Of course the good news is that anyone who is passionate about what they do can write a stunningly good sales letter with a bit of guidance, hence why I published the book.
We’ve had a lot of visitors since I launched this claiming their free e-copy of the book and your readers are welcome to take advantage before it finishes on 18 June.

From your post on your blog and my own stats almost a quarter of the visitors to your site have been from here.
Delighted to help my readers with your info. Great win-win!
Hello everyone, I do not mean to be rude, but my teenage friend just launched his first website on affiliate marketing. It is a test version on tripod to see if he can make any revenue through the site before he invests any more money into a full-blown professional website. If you would all please be kind enough to spend a few minutes looking through the site, and the links he has thus far, I know he’d love it. The address is zzzzzzzzzzz.com. Thank You!
Editor - This is left here as an example of what NOT to do. Baaaddd marketing
